In a quiet residential area, Castelldefels the Hotel HP Castelldefels stands just far from the beach. To its guests, the main highlight of the great, clean beach is that it’s a beautiful 15-20 min walk from the hotel. This walk takes you through quiet streets to the main promenade - Passeig MarĂtim, where you find a huge variety of lively `chiringuitos’ (beach bars), seafood restaurants and nightclubs.
The biggest walking advantage of the hotel is that it is very close to the “Castelldefels Platja” train station, about a 5-10 minute walk. This station is on the line R2 Sud, going in cheap and fast direct connection in around 25-30 minutes to the center of Barcelona (to Sants or Passeig de Grà cia stations). It’s what makes this hotel an excellent and much quieter alternative to a stay in the busy city.
While the main restaurant hub is on the far beach promenade, there are very good smaller local cafes and neighborhood restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Ideal for quiet morning coffee or a simple dinner if you don't feel like trekking all the way to the seafront.
